BUILDING A BETTER REPUTATION
Comprehensive audit for home-builder

Mantra was brought in by George Wimpey to conduct a full communications audit to identify opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of its branding within a highly competitive market.  The final report saw Mantra make tactical and strategic recommendations to enable George Wimpey to expand upon its communications policy.

Auditing Communications
The audit included a review of the communications material of George Wimpey and two main competitors in order to identify strengths and weaknesses. The material analysed included;

   ·  advertisements,

   ·  on-site brochures,

   ·  on-site signage

   ·  websites


Mantra also evaluated a sample of editorial material, (retrieved over a four month period) comparing share of voice, type of coverage, issue and message content for each company.

Building PR 
Mantra highlighted the potential use of PR as an effective communications tool.  The media analysis for George Wimpey and competitors found coverage biased towards corporate issues, containing very few brand positioning messages.


Mantra also identified a number of ways in which George Wimpey could standardise and improve its communications,
creating stronger company association and recognition through better promotion of the brand and George Wimpey’s values.


In a competitive and at times unstable industry, Mantra helped to provide George Wimpey with  the opportunity to build its reputation on solid foundations.
