ABOUT
US - BEST PRACTICE FORUM |
|
The
Communicators' Best Practice Forum is an informal
discussion group, sponsored by Mantra, under an initiative
by chairman, Brian Moore MIPR. The group runs a series of
forthcoming seminars for senior communications
professionals; these are looking at the influence that
public relations and public affairs professionals can (or
should?) have on the formulation of policy and strategy at
the highest levels.
The
aim is to share thoughts, to challenge opinion and,
particularly, to compare the experiences of key
communicators from the public and private sectors.
Each seminar brings together a maximum of 30 senior
practitioners.
Speakers will explore how communications can be
managed to generate maximum impact, both in terms of
achieving key business objectives and as a management
discipline; participants at the events will have full
opportunities to review or challenge any assertions or
perspectives.
We will be particularly looking for views based on
substantial experience or validated study.
To date, our series of seminars has looked
at the following issues dictating the PR industry;
1. ‘Should strategy influence communications…or
communications influence strategy’
2. ‘Public relations: communicating the brand’
3. ‘Public relations and branding for customer retention’
4. ‘Public relations - winning the boardroom battle’
5. ‘Effective communications for effective stakeholder
management’
